ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE
Houston / Kemah, Texas – May 23, 2007 Hammonds Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: HMDI) Daniel Dror, Chairman of the board of directors of Hammonds Industries, Inc. is pleased to announce that Sherry L. Couturier has been appointed as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and was elected as Director, both effective June 1, 2007. Since August 2006, Ms. Couturier has served as the Company’s accounting manager. Ms. Couturier graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Alabama and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1986. She has held positions in both public and industry accounting and brings to the Company a strong management background and business acumen. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Couturier worked for El Paso Corporation for 14 years as a supervisor for various accounting departments and as a training and development consultant.
The Company also announced today that Gary D. Woerz, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Director, has resigned to pursue other business opportunities. During his tenure, the Company has increased shareholder value by strengthening its balance sheet and increasing revenues. Mr. Woerz has been a key member of our management team, which has strategically placed the Company in a unique situation, leveraged for significant growth. Mr. Woerz will continue his relationship with the Company as a consultant.
Mr. Daniel Dror was appointed by the Company’s board of directors as the company’s C.E.O., effective June 1, 2007.
Hammonds Industries, Inc. (f/k/a International American Technologies, Inc.), is a 40.7% owned subsidiary of American International Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: AMIN).
